These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Veriomics. By requesting pilot access or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

01About Veriomics

Veriomics is a research methodology platform that helps scientific teams ground their analytical decisions in peer-reviewed evidence. Veriomics is currently in an early access pilot stage.

02Pilot Access

Pilot access to Veriomics is free during the early access programme.

  • Pricing for full release will be announced separately.
  • Veriomics reserves the right to revoke pilot access at any time, at its sole discretion.
  • You may stop using Veriomics at any time without notice.

03Acceptable Use

You agree to use Veriomics only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
  • Use Veriomics to process unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
  • Misrepresent yourself or your affiliation when requesting pilot access
  • Use Veriomics in a way that disrupts or damages the platform or other users

04Intellectual Property

Your content remains yours. Any research data, inputs, queries, or feedback you provide to Veriomics remain your intellectual property.

Our platform remains ours. The Veriomics platform, including its software, design, code, methodology recommendations, citation logic, and underlying systems, is the intellectual property of Veriomics. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform during the pilot period.

05No Medical, Clinical, or Diagnostic Advice

Veriomics is a research methodology tool. It does not provide medical, clinical, or diagnostic advice.

  • Outputs generated by Veriomics must not be used to make clinical decisions, diagnose patients, or guide treatment without independent expert verification.
  • Methodology recommendations are based on published literature and are intended to support — not replace — the judgement of qualified scientists and bioinformaticians.
  • Users remain solely responsible for validating all outputs and ensuring fitness for their specific research purposes.

06Limitation of Liability

Veriomics is provided “as-is” during the pilot stage. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any specific purpose.
  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of Veriomics, including but not limited to lost research time, lost data, or research outcomes.
  • Your sole remedy for any dissatisfaction with Veriomics is to stop using the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

07Termination

Veriomics may suspend or revoke your pilot access at any time, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

You may stop using Veriomics at any time. On termination, your right to use the platform ends immediately. Sections covering Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law survive termination.

08Privacy

Your use of Veriomics is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your personal data. By using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

09Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use as Veriomics evolves. Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Veriomics after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of Veriomics will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
